My husband loves Gnocchi, it’s his signature dish every time we do Italian. Before we moved to Texas, we lived in the Bay Area, CA and that is also, where we meet. We were legally married there and that day we got married, we went to one of our favorite Italian restaurants-Piatti. I’ve always loved the sauce on their gnocchi dish and secretly wanted to remake it. Today was the day and I’m so proud of myself. I absolutely love recreating our favorite restaurant dishes, with my own twist. If you try it out, let me know your thoughts. DO NOT SKIM OUT ON THE GARNISH, it is the best part of the dish! If you happen to have heavy cream (whipping cream), use that in place of half and half, it make’s the recipe richer and cuts the cooking time, as well.
